Cuvée Aubin Blanc de Blanc Fût de Chêne_

CUVEE BLANC DE BLANCS      -      Harvest 2018

Cellared: April 2019

A pure Chardonnay from the Montagne de Reims, born from the exceptional 2018 vintage.

The wine selection was carried out through several rounds of tasting: first as grape must straight from the press, then again at the end of alcoholic fermentation for confirmation.

60% of the selected wines were aged in oak barrels, with the remaining 40% vinified in stainless steel tanks.

A third tasting ensured the perfect aromatic and gustatory balance before bottling.

After four years of aging on lees in the cellar, a final tasting led to the decision of a delicate dosage at 4 g/L, placing this Champagne in the Extra Brut category.

Appearance: A beautiful, pale golden hue.

Nose:

Delicate and refined — the very expression of Chardonnay enriched by oak aging.
The bouquet reveals aromas of vanilla and caramel, delicately interwoven with floral notes and exotic fruits.

Palate:

A clean, crisp attack opens the tasting, followed by a fresh, vibrant structure balanced by roundness and subtle smoothness.
The finish is long, harmonious, and expressive, with elegant woody tones blending seamlessly with hints of citrus zest, all wrapped in gentle softness.

Tasting Notes :

This Champagne was shaped by tasting, guided at each stage to reveal its finest expression.
A sophisticated choice for aperitif, it also shines at the table — pairing wonderfully with shellfish, sauced fish dishes, and even cheese.

Let the Champagne breathe for a few minutes before serving to fully appreciate its complexity and richness.
